"Lebanon" wins top prize at Venice Film Festival

Lebanon, a hard-hitting anti-war film by Samuel Maoz won the Golden Lion at Venice, yesterday.

The film tells the story of a tank unit during the first day or two of the War in Lebanon in 1982 and is based on Maoz's own combat experiences during that war.

Lebanon (2009) is a full-length feature film and is available from Metro Communications, metro@metrocom.co.il
